Burning Flames Season 1
Burning Flames is an exciting Chinese drama set in ancient China. This wuxia drama is based on the web novel Wu Geng Ji by Zheng Jian He and Deng Zhi Hui and has everything from betrayal and revenge to friendship and romance. Following a bloody war between gods and humans, the humans are defeated and imprisoned.
Amongst them is the former prince Wu Geng of Xin who loses everything including his family. As a slave, the only thing that keeps him going is avenging his family and destroying the gods. With the help of his grandfather, Fu Xi, Wu Geng trains long and hard in a secret village to become as powerful as the gods and to take them down. On the way, he befriends several villagers and forms an anti-heaven army in hopes of freeing his country.
The C-drama stars popular faces, Ren Jia Lun as Wu Geng and Xing Fei as Bai Cai. Along with them, the cast of Burning Flames includes Zhu Xu Dan, Zi Yu, Zhu Zheng Ting, Merxat, Gu Zi Cheng and Guo Xiao Tian.

Where Can I Watch Burning Flames?
Burning Flames is available to stream on iQIYI, and is set up as full episodes, so there’s no messing about with different parts on YouTube.
The first few episodes are free to watch and after that, you will require a subscription to iQIYI to watch it. It will also be available to stream for free on iQIYI’s official YouTube channel.
Burning Flames Episode Release Dates
Burning Flames is a Chinese drama and as such, the episode release dates are a little different to those released in other Asian regions.
It premiered on Wednesday 13th March with 6 episodes dropping at once. Following that, we will see 2 episodes being released every day till the end of its run. The finale, episodes 39 and 40 will be released on 30th March.
The episodes are released at 11am (GMT) / 7pm (SGT) / 4am (PT).
Expect each episode to be roughly 45 minutes long. Do note that the subtitle team is pretty quick with English subtitles available from release.
