Episode 22
At the beginning of Branding in Seongsu Episode 22, the underground team takes the necessary steps to organize the workshop. Because it suddenly begins to pour, they start to feel worried. On the other hand, they ultimately settle on having the workshop at the Seongsu Agency.
On the other hand, Eun-ho is seen drafting his resignation letter. He joined Seongsu Agency to get Na-eon to apologize to him. Since his mission has been accomplished, he does not have any other reason to continue working at Seongsu Agency beyond this point. His door is knocked on, and as he answers it, he discovers Young-ae, Joo-rex, and Park-jenny standing there. Following that, Joo-rex forces him to attend the workshop by carrying him to Seongsu Agency against his will.
We catch a glimpse of Na-eon and Eun-ho exchanging glances while they are at the workshop. After this, Na-eon is seen following Eun-ho outside of the premises of the workplace. Instead, she runs into Hee-jung, who is among her prime suspects at this point. Following that, she brings up the Bandi incident, in which Hee-jung explicitly said she would accept responsibility if things went awry. However, we are not given the opportunity to listen to the entire exchange.
Following that, we see Team One going through the process of organizing a few games for the workshop. In the treasure hunt game, Na-eon is paired with Jung-woo. Despite his attempts to convince her to play the game with him, she declines to do so. Following that, he suggests that he has feelings for her, but she does not appear to be the least bit interested in his advances.
Not long after that, the group can be seen enjoying a good time while playing the game. On the other hand, Na-eon is relentlessly trying to find the person who attempted to kill her. In the following scene, we see her entering Jung-woo’s office in order to search for some evidence. On the other hand, just as she is taking a look around, the lights suddenly go out, and she has the terrifying hallucination of arms wrapping themselves around her neck yet again.
Following that, we witness Eun-ho rushing to help her in every way he can. After she has calmed down a little bit, she turns down Eun-ho’s offer to help her. Following this, Eun-ho goes on to tell her that he’d like for her to ask for help and say that she’s struggling. He then tells her that he’s happy to be there by her side. Following that, we witness Na-eon apologizing to him for the things that had happened in the past. Immediately after this, the two of them share a passionate kiss.
During the closing moments of the episode, Na-eon shows Eun-ho the CCTV footage that she discovered. In the video, while he is disguised as a rabbit, Jung-woo can be seen pushing Na-eon down.
The Episode Review
In episode 22, team one arranges for a workshop at Seongsu Agency. Jung-woo continues to pursue Na-eon and is met with rejection. Na-eon finds evidence against the person who killed her. Eun-ho and Na-eon share a kiss.
The episode is less chaotic and more straightforward than the episodes that came before it. The show has not made use of the supernatural element here, and it works for the show. Even if the show has not suddenly become outstanding, it has unquestionably improved in this episode, which is something that deserves acknowledgment.
Having said that, the show appears to normalize patterns of behavior that are frightening. For instance, Joo-rex is seen harassing Eun-ho by invading his personal space and making him feel rather uneasy on several occasions. However, the show manages to make this situation humorous, which may make it difficult for some viewers to watch.
