Injustice 2

Injustice 2 is a gritty follow-up to NetherRealm Studios’s first game. This game features brutal action sequences and sheds a darker light on the superheroes and villains fans to grew up with. Like other fighting games, Injustice 2 isn’t a stranger to DLC. There were several DLC packs made for the game to give it more longevity.

These DLC packs included characters from the DC Universe. On the other hand, this game features guest characters like Tekken and Super Smash Bros. who aren’t from the DC Universe. From the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero, there is a slew of strange yet exciting appearances to look forward to in the game.

DLC aside, this game boasts incredible visuals that make our characters look realistic. The amount of detail put into the cast’s emotions, facial features, and body language will astound anyone. The stages in this game wreak gloom and doom. While some characters exhibit cheerful emotions, players should expect our cast to display mannerisms and enact decisions that aren’t faithful to their characters.

If you’re looking for another realistic fighting game featuring meaningful and bizarre characters, play Injustice 2.

Batman: Arkham City

Fans looking for an excellent action-adventure game featuring Batman should look no further than Batman Arkham City. This game boasts an incredible narrative, mesmerizing visuals, and stellar gameplay. In it, players witness Batman getting incarcerated in Arkham City, a well-kept prison closed by Gotham City.

As Batman, you must search for the facility’s warden Hugo Strange and thwart his evil schemes. If you’re unsure about Hugo’s status as the game’s villain, don’t fear. Several iconic villains like The Joker rear their dastardly heads in the game too. The game allows players to traverse the Arkham City prison at their leisure. Whether you want to converse with its residents or tackle the map’s various missions is up to you. Players can unlock new areas by progressing through the game’s story and by obtaining equipment. Completing tasks can net you some nice rewards. If you’re looking for an action-packed superhero game from the DC Universe, check this one out.

Lego Batman 2: The Videogame

The LEGO brand has given players amazing iterations of fictional characters. From Luke Skywalker to Harry Potter, it’s hard not to find a series or franchise this brand hasn’t tried replicating yet. LEGO Batman 2: The Videogame is an amazing title with a clever-written interpretation of everyone’s favorite caped crusader.

The second game follows Batman and Robin defending Gotham City against notorious enemies like Lex Luther and the Joker. Other heroes and villains are included in the game’s 50-character roster. Each character comes equipped with unique abilities to help them stand out. Batman and Robin receive extra love in this title compared to the first LEGO Batman video game.

In it, players can obtain new suits and gadgets for these two to master like Batman’s Power Suit and Robin’s Hazard Suit. The dialogue is as humorous and charming as in other Lego games. This is a fun solo and co-op title that you can play with your friends or family via split-screen.

DC Universe Online

With the rise of free-to-play online games like Fortnite, it makes sense for other media brands to hop on the bandwagon. DC Universe Online is an action-packed online RPG full of satisfying content and admirable characters. However, fans who don’t like grinding for experience, super-loot, and characters may not find this title appealing.

Nonetheless, this game offers an enjoyable ride and a nice community to interact with on a daily basis. The game boasts a phenomenal character customization system to allow fans to make original heroes and villains. For those who lack creative genius, the game offers several templates to help you with the hero and villain design process.

Typically, Lego games often put you in the position of the hero. Lego DC Super-Villains isn’t only a return to form with developer Traveler’s Tales but it gives players an intriguing spin on the formula. Where the 2016 Suicide-Squad film failed to deliver a wonderful experience for movie-goers, Lego DC Super-Villains offers something more clever and varied in return.

The second entry, Batman: The Enemy Within improves upon this game’s issues drastically. Nonetheless, Batman: The Telltale Series has enough nuance to warrant your time.

This game gives players the chance to tackle situations like Batman or his mundane alter ego, Bruce Wayne. This dynamic allows players to forge unique play sessions that differ from others.
