After a misunderstanding with her boyfriend, Jolyne gets sent to Green Dolphin State Prison.

Little does Jolyne know that this is all a conspiracy to full one of Dio Brando’s minion’s life-long goals. Like other parts, this anime follows a “villain of the week” structure. Each villain has incredible powers, personalities, and motives. Jolyne’s battles with them are intense and well-animated. Unfortunately, some fights take place at the Green Dolphin State Prison.

Those who liked previous entries that had the cast explore new environments will find this season disappointing. However, if you’re okay with the story being set in one place, you’re in for a bizarre and fun time with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.

Despite having a poor second half, Eden of the East is a great anime with compelling mystery and romance aspects. Our story follows Saki, a woman who meets Akira, a man with amnesia. Although she’s not against befriending Akira, Saki learns he’s a terrorist with a large sum of cash. Regardless of the danger she’s putting herself in, Saki’s determined to become Akira’s trusted ally.

This anime has an unsettling world full of conspiracies and secrets. Akira may suffer from amnesia, but deep down, he’s a character with enough charm and wit to get by. Many viewers will adore learning more about his roots. Saki’s an interesting protagonist herself, with a lovely personality that fans can get behind. You’ll love seeing them connect with each other and grow as companions.

With its beautiful futuristic visuals and wonderful soundtrack, Eden of the East should leave you satisfied.

Gunsmith Cats

Gunsmith Cats is a fantastic anime for those who adore crime-based programming. Our story follows two bounty hunters named Rally and May, as they take on dangerous missions in the Chicago underworld. May and Rally receive fabulous development throughout the anime and get involved in many crooked schemes full of action and intrigue.

From their banter to their skilled marksmanship, Rally and May are wonderful characters fans will admire. This anime contains stellar animation. From its multiple chase scenes to the girls’ battle with the crooks in their city, everything feels energetic and exciting to watch. Furthermore, the animators took great care in making our girls’ environment feel lively with its various neighborhoods and alleyways.

On top of having great drama and humor, Gunsmith Cats is a must-watch retro anime.
