Throughout the series, Whitebeard displays phenomenal fatherly qualities to the characters like Ace and Marco. He’s known to go to great lengths to defend and shield his “sons” from harm. This shows his fierce loyalty to his crew. 

Additionally, Whitebeard provides his “sons” with guidance, and wisdom, and helps them grow. He creates a supportive barrier for them to thrive and enables them to become stronger from a physical and mental perspective.

Thors Snorresson (Vinland Saga)

Thors Snorresson is a wonderful character in the Vinland Saga universe and a great father at that. Despite being a legendary warrior, Thors prioritizes peace and empathy, imparting invaluable life lessons to his family. This makes him a highly respected and influential figure in this series, and a great role model for fathers to follow in the real world.

Despite living in a violent, war-torn era, Thors desired a different path for Thorinn. He teaches him to value life and why it’s important to shower people with empathy.
