Chicken Nugget

Chicken Nugget is the latest Netflix kdrama which is as absurd as it sounds. The rest of the show follows a her father and his intern, who try to reverse the transformation and change her back into a human.

LTNS

LTNS (Long Time No Sex) is an interesting kdrama which maps the failing relationship of a couple, Samuel and Woo-jin. Interesting, isn’t it?

Ahn Jae-hong  plays the character of Samuel, a mild-mannered taxi driver, who once worked for a prestigious company but called it quits due to his mental health. Samuel is quite different from Jae-hong’s Baek-joong, who is more of a eccentric, comedy guy. This show highlights his emotional range in portraying the complexity associated with Samuel’s character.

Jae-hong plays the character of Joo Oh-nam, a social recluse bleeding into the tag of a “creep” as he obsess over Mo-mi and starts stalking her. Joo Oh-nam is starkly different from Jae-hong’s happy-go-lucky Baek-joong and displays his acting prowess in a dark and disturbing role.

The story follows a Joseon-era mermaid, Shim Cheong who enters the human world to find the reincarnation of her dead lover.
