Is Wilson dead or alive?
Episode 7 of Bandidos begins with Octavio and Ines realizing that the scarred face has tricked them, and the video footage they’re currently looking at is playing in a loop. Meanwhile, the air compressor starts to suck all the oxygen in the room, leaving them with very little oxygen. Citlali frees herself and tries to open the steel door using a makeshift lever, but it doesn’t work.
Fortunately, Ines and Octavio arrive in the nick of time and save everyone. Miguel suggests taking Wilson to the hospital, but he refuses and reveals that he has cancer and would rather die searching for the treasure than on a hospital bed.
This leaves Miguel no choice but to agree and board a speed boat that’ll take them to the treasure. However, it is clear that Wilson will not survive. He asks Miguel to leave his body in the ocean and keep his share of the treasure. Eventually, Wilson dies of his injuries and is offered to the ocean.
Does the group find the treasure of the Mayan King?
Miguel accidentally figures out that the holes in the map are actually constellations. Thanks to Lucas’ tech, they track the stars to a specific location in the sea, a part so narrow that it can be navigated by a ship or a boat. This is exactly why Francisco sank his ship here.
The next morning, the group reaches the location, and Citlali, Lucas, and Miguel don their scuba suits and dive into the water.
From the bottom, they recover a giant wooden box that can only be opened by three keys, but Miguel figures out that they only need a moonstone to open it, which happens to be inside his shirt pocket. The box is opened, and it is filled with gold and emeralds. They also find the statue of the Kaan Balam.
Why does Miguel shoot Lily?
The scarred face catches after them and orders his men to take control of the treasure and kill the rest. Ines takes care of the situation by gunning down the armed men.
Lily also stabs the scarred face with his cane. Ariel also joins the group and asks to let him have the jaguar. However, before they can do anything, Lily tries to run away with the Jaguar and is shot and killed by Miguel.
The jaguar is awarded to the museum, and the treasure is divided between the rest of the team. Citlali buys a mansion for his family, and Ines is reunited with her son. As for Lily, her body is recovered from the ocean.
Is Lily alive or dead?
As the episode nears its end, it is revealed that Lily is alive and kicking. The entire shenanigans were Lily’s plan to fake her death so she could hide from people wanting to harm her, like the one who assaulted her in the hotel room.
Also, before dying, Wilson hands Lily a fake passport so she can enjoy and live her life under a new name and identity. So, all in all, everyone gets their happy ending except the villain.
The Episode Review
In Episode 8, the group faces more challenges as they race to find the treasure of the Mayan King. They narrowly escape a deadly trap set by the scarred face, and Wilson sacrifices himself to save his darling nephew. Miguel then leads the group to the treasure’s location using a clever interpretation of the map.
After a dive, they retrieve the treasure, including the statue of the Kaan Balam. However, their triumph is short-lived as the scarred face and his men ambush them. In a tense confrontation, Ines manages to eliminate the threat, but Miguel is forced to shoot Lily when she tries to betray them.
In the aftermath, the group divides the treasure, with each member finding closure and redemption in their own way. Lily’s supposed death is revealed to be a ruse, allowing her to start a new life.
The story ends with a sense of justice and resolution for the characters, except for the scarred face, who meets his demise.
