The Traitor
Episode 6 begins with Octavio waking up from his slumber only to find that their pilot has parachuted off the plane, leaving them behind. The pilot was in cahoots with Ariel and was paid good money to sabotage Miguel’s plan.
The group tries their best to break into the cockpit, but it is in vain because the doors are practically impenetrable from the outside.
Ines suspects that one of them is a traitor and has laced their champagne with sleeping drugs. They try to trace their steps to figure out if they had mistakenly spilled the beans to anyone. Wilson reveals that last night, he was beaten by loan sharks, but he didn’t share their plan with anyone.
Miguel shares that after dropping off his dad in his room, he played Call of Duty with Lucas. Octavio turns on Lily, but she reveals that after their meetup, she went straight to her home. But we learn that Lily is lying, as she chooses to leave the part where someone assaulted her. As for Ines, she spent the night at her house, which was vandalized by what appears to be an anti-gay group.
Things turn heated, and during the chaos, Lily falls off the plane. Miguel grabs a parachute, chases after her, and saves her. Soon Citlali, Lucas, Wilson, and Ines also jump off the plane and land at the surface, but miles away from each other. As for Octavio, he stays behind and tries to land the plane.
Ines, Wilson, Lily, and Lucas reunite and make their way to Citlali and Lucas. On the way, we learn Citlali wants the money to pay off the judge, while Wilson opens up to Lily that he is dying from pancreatic cancer. Wilson asks Lily not to reveal anything to Miguel.
As the episode progresses, it is revealed that it was Lily who betrayed the group. The scarred face catches up to them and locks everyone in one of the pyramid chambers. As for Lily, she finds a letter in the pyramid and hands it to Ariel.
Octavio arrives and frees the group from the chamber. He also reveals that the reason he didn’t show anyone his phone was because he was with Ines the night earlier.
Lily figures out the treasure is in a ship that Francesco sank at the bottom of the ocean. This is when we learn that Lily never betrayed Miguel, and everything that happened was part of their plan. Sadly, things turn tragic when the scarred face enters the room and shoots Ariel.
He also stabs Wilson in the gut. It is revealed that the scarred face guy is the same man whom Miguel accidentally hurt decades ago while he was looking for the treasure with his father. As the episode nears its end, the crook orders his men to tie everyone and leaves to secure the treasure.
