In Bad Sisters Season 2 Episode 6, Ian convinces Eva not to call the coastguard, as there will be police. Eva tells them how she told the detectives about being suspicious of Angelica, which gives them all the motive to have murdered her.

Ian goes down to the marina to look around and check for cameras. He finds blood on the boat and cameras, which could have caught them leaving with Angelica and returning without her.

A woman allows him to check her camera footage. Sure enough, it shows the Garveys returning without Angelica. He deletes it, but only after downloading the footage for himself.

Houlihan learns from Roger that Angelica didn’t come back last night. He tells her about Ian threatening her the other night.

Meanwhile, Ursula, Becka, and Bibi go clean the boat. Bibi shares she thinks something is going on between Eva and Ian before they find Angelica’s phone. When Becka starts bleeding, Ursula takes her to the hospital, leaving Bibi to clean up on her own.

Loftus nurses his stolen funds as he debates whether or not he should use the cash to pay his lawyer.

Houlihan then tells Loftus Angelica is missing. She goes to Grace’s crash site to check something and finds flowers at the site along with an apology note from Angelica. She also notices Grace was driving away from Angelica’s when she crashed.

Eva meets up with the others at the hospital. Becka says she didn’t want the baby, but she is relieved when the baby is okay.

Houlihan talks to Ian about the words he had with Angelica. Ian tells Eva about her visit and assures her he’s sticking around because he cares about the Garveys–but mainly her.

When Houlihan shares her findings, Loftus berates her for jumping to conclusions about Angelica’s disappearance before doing any routine police work.

Meanwhile, Matt texts Becka, asking her if she wants to meet up with him. She tells him she’s pregnant, and he doesn’t respond.

Bibi goes through Angelica’s purse, finding her car keys. She realizes her car could be found at the marina, so she goes there to move it before the cops can find it.

Unbeknownst to her, the cops have already located it. When Bibi gets there, she finds Houlihan poking around. Luckily, Bibi is able to evade her notice.

Later, Bibi presses Eva about Ian. Eva admits there are feelings there, but Bibi harshly advises that she bury them.

With the odd way Bibi’s been acting, Nora thinks she’s having second thoughts about having another baby.

Houlihan thinks it’s time to arrest Ian under suspicion of being involved in Angelica’s disappearance. Loftus tells her they can’t, and he reveals the money has already been found in Grace’s car and therefore has nothing to do with it. The story, he says, is that Grace killed her husband and died while running away. That’s it.

Later, Ian kisses Eva again when he learns she has feelings for him. This time, she gives into the kiss.

They end up sleeping together. Afterward, she thinks it’s the worst thing she’s ever done. He assures her it’s time to look after her own happiness. Becka catches them together when she comes in, and Eva reveals that Joe knows she’s pregnant.

Loftus puts the stolen money in the evidence room, but Houlihan accuses him of tampering with evidence. She checked every inch of the car and didn’t find the money. He then threatens her against speaking out.

Bibi sees Eva and Ian walking together, and she isn’t happy about it. Later she confronts him about his motives.

She thinks it’s weird he had no family or friends at the wedding, and now he’s getting on with Eva. She even wonders if he told her to go look for Angelica’s car because he knew a detective would be there.

Maybe Angelica was right not to trust him.

The Episode Review

Yes, Bibi! Don’t suppress your suspicions, this guy is incredibly fishy. He’s definitely going to try to blackmail them with everything he knows…

This episode was a bit slow (a lot of flailing around, covering tracks, repetitive stuff we’ve seen before from the Garveys). But we’re revving up to the real drama, I think. What will Houlihan do when faced with Loftus’ threat, I wonder?
