What Happened in Episode 1?
In Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout Episode 1, we get introduced to Ryza, her friends Tao and Lent, and the world of Rasenboden. Ryza and her companions embark on a small expedition and meet Klaudia, an alchemist named Empel, and his bodyguard Lila. A day later, Ryza and her friends visit Empel and Lila.
Ryza asks Empel to help her become an alchemist and he has Ryza complete two simple tests to see if she has the innate aptitude needed to become an alchemist. Ryza completes the tasks easily, and the episode closes with Ryze becoming a beginner-level alchemist and celebrating her achievement with Tao and Lent.
