Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout Episode 5 will release on Saturday 29th July at approximately 4pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 10am (CT). Of course, it’s really dependent on how quickly the platform uploads new episodes. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is not available with the dubbing from the release so you’ll need to watch it in the native Japanese tongue with subtitles. Dubbing will likely arrive later on down the line.

What Happened in Episode 4?

In Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout Episode 4, Empel task Ryza, Lent, and Tao to visit the Sunken Mine to look for Koberinite without his and Lila’s assistance. The trio visit the location, find the Koberinite, and engage in battle with a giant crystallized monster. Tao finds a scripture that informs him of a way to exit the mind swiftly after Ryza sets off a bomb she synthesized. 

While Lent and Tao receive praise for their actions, Ryza gets scolded for hers. Empel tasks her with making a new bomb and she complies and brings one to him. Empel deems Ryza a failure, not for her synthesization skills, but for her behavior and lack of deductive skills. The episode closes with Ryza promising Empel she’ll improve her knowledge of items before syntheisizng and using them.
