Will there be a season 2?
Just in tears. That is all.
We need Season 2 and more of these films to show us what it takes to stand for the moral high ground and remind so many of history and the evil that is in the world around us even today. Please keep these coming!
One of the most poignant scenes is the one when Otto Frank manipulates the necklace and Meip comes to understand the significance of her gifted butterfly necklace. Another scene that surely demonstrates how dangerous it was for those that tried to help was when “the papers” Jan was to save were actually a baby! This limited series is so well presented on every level. A must see.
Being a teacher, and avid History student, telling this story is very important historically, and offers lessons in humanity that we should all hold near to our hearts. For those who put their own lives in danger to protect our Jewish brothers and sisters, may God bless them for generations. We should all strive to become the people that God made us to be…kind, helpful, loving, and most importantly, God fearing and filled with humility.
Having been a devout Jewish woman, I was told as as a young girl, about Anne Frank and her family and what happened to them just days before our US Services saved all of Amsterdam and all the people from concentration camps.
This story gave us a wonderful new story from the Employee of Mr. Frank , Meik and how she kept them alive for over 2 years.
It’s a horror but true story not too be missed.
