A Sign of Affection – Episode 7 Recap & Review

Let Me Introduce You to My Girlfriend

At the beginning of A Sign of Affection Episode 7, Itsuomi leaves for his international tour, during which he intends to visit multiple countries. Throughout his journey, he maintains contact with Yuki, providing her with updates about the places he has been to along with the occasional videos and pictures.

On the other hand, Yuki is interested in seeing the world with Itsuomi. She figures getting a job will help her achieve her goal. She then applies to a number of other companies. However, she doesn’t find a positive outcome.

We see Oushi message Yuki and tell her that his sister Mio is visiting. Yuki decides to drop by and meet Mio on account of this. Since Mio has completely forgotten how to use sign language, Oushi has taken to making wide gestures in order to get her point across. Additionally, Mio asks Yuki if she’s in love and Yuki says yes.

Itsuomi texts Yuki to let her know that he’s returned while she’s on the train. Following this, he asks to meet her. The two of them meet halfway and Itsuomi surprises Yuki with a kiss. Following that, they have lunch together and savour the moment.

Itsuomi quickly tells Yuki that he wants her to meet his friend Shin. The episode then concludes with Itsuomi bringing Yuki to Shin’s house to introduce her as his girlfriend.

The Episode Review

Episode 7 finds Yuki job hunting and Itsuomi on tour. After a long time, Yuki finally meets Mio, Oushi’s sister. Yuki is introduced as Itsuomi’s girlfriend after his return.

Similar to the previous episodes, this one’s plot develops elegantly and organically. In addition to being an emotionally engaging story, the story’s simplicity and delivery never fail to amaze. The character journeys are beautiful as well, and you really feel for them.
