7 Upcoming BL Series To Watch This August

With KinnPorsche ending, many BL fans have been struggling but worry no more because August seems to be giving us great BL content. The trailers for most of these shows have dropped and if they are anything to go by then BL lovers are in for a treat this August. 


War of Y 

Starts Airing: August 2nd

This series is about the struggle of the entertainment industry. It has been divided into four parts. Story 1- New Ship Before the ship, it wasn’t easy. But this new era is even harder. Story 2 – War of Managers. The story of a shipped couple who are privately a real couple. Managers and drama clash until the couple is forced to separate.

Story 3 – Y-Idol A reality search for new actors—who can sing, dance, and act—and the chaos of the Idol Camp. Story 4 – Wife When one-half of a shipped couple has a wife, will their future in this industry be ruined? It will be fun to see how much of the reality in the entertainment industry this series will divulge.


21 Days Theory 

Starts Airing: August 7th

If you had 21 days to open up and confess to your crush, would you do it? Being secretly in love is hard but the chance of getting rejected is also painful.

In this series, Q is challenged by X to find a girlfriend within 21 days. His friends Toy and Frank are set on making the whole experience hard for him. The biggest challenge however is probably Q’s developing feelings for X. Will he win the challenge or X’s heart?


Papa & Daddy Season 2 

Starts Airing: August 8th

This series follows the story of a 4-year-old boy Kai and his two dads, Damian and Jerry. In Season 2, the appearance of Jimmy (Damian’s kid with his ex) brews trouble within the couple’s dynamic. Jerry worries that Damian is still too close to his ex and might fall in love with her again.

Damian, on the other hand, is stressed about how to best care for both Jimmy and Jerry. How will this couple survive these insecurities, pressure, and jealousy?


My Only 12% 

Starts Airing: August 12th

What is the probability that the person we love, loves us back? According to this show, the answer is 12%. See-ew and Cake have been in each other’s life for a long time. However, when Cake gets back from abroad, he notices a few changes in See-ew.

This strains their relationship a bit and makes him jealous. In the end, as they remain by each other’s side and go through life, they realize that there could be more to their relationship.


The Eclipse

Starts Airing: August 12th

In a school setting, there will always be students who follow and enforce the rules and there will also be rebels. What happens when a rule enforcer falls in love with a rebel?  This series is about two boys in a cursed school who find themselves as rivals when rules in that school become a problem. As they continue to fight for what they stand for, they fall in love and have to face the effect of time.


180-Degree Longitude Passes Through Us 

Starts Airing: August 14th

This series is already causing a buzz given its unique storyline. A successful director Sasiwimol finds herself in an emotional dilemma after finding out her teenage son Wang is in love with her old friend  Inthawut.

The shocking age gap troubles her and she finds it hard to come to terms with this reality. How will this affect her close relationship with her son and will this be the end of her long friendship with Inthawut?


Love In The Air  

Starts Airing: August 18th

This is a University themed BL that tells the story of two friends Rain and Sky who find themselves in trouble and end up meeting Phayu and Prapai. Based on the trailer, this show will not be the typical soft university-themed BLs.

Hopefully, the execution of the plot will be well-delivered but this series is looking promising.
