10 More Dramas Like Fanta G Spot

While K-dramas are known to be romantic and funny along with their usual dose of melodrama, the genre is seeing quite some progression off lately. With the existence of independent streaming platforms like Netflix, Coupang Play, TVING and many more, Korean web dramas have started touching on sensitive and bold topics that fans really enjoy.

Be it sexual fantasies or sensitive topics, K-dramas off-lately is no longer shy and openly addresses various taboo topics including female sexual pleasure and male sexual health problems. One such recent K-drama that gained a lot of popularity online was the Coupang Play original, Fanta G Spot or ‘Hit The Spot’ starring EXID’s Hani and Bae Won-hee in the lead roles.

The show, its 8 episodes follow the lives of two friends who are in their late 20s but still struggling to find a partner that would fulfil their sexual fantasies.

The two end up developing feelings for each other just like they used to back in their teens and Ru-da realises how to really help Yong-shik.

Mugi and Hanabi both have crushes on their teachers and are only fake dating each other in order to soothe their loneliness. With finding confidence in each other with their secret, Mugi and Hanabi share physical intimacy driven by loneliness. This drives them to develop sexual feelings for each other which threaten to develop into something more with time.

Perfect World

Based on a manga of the same name, this J-drama follows the story of Architect Ayukawa Itsuki who is paralyzed from the waist down. After injuring himself in an accident at the University, he decides to never fall in love again as he will be wheelchair-bound for the rest of his life.

Meanwhile, Itsuki’s classmate Kawana Tsugumi had a crush on him when they were classmates. However, as time passed, she wasn’t able to make it to her desired job and now holds a clerical position. Itsuki and Tsugumi happen to meet again at a work-related drinking session. The two of them are instantly attracted to each other.

Throughout their journey of falling in love, they are met with several troubles including disapproving parents, the appearance of a love rival as well as Itsuki’s illness that may possibly never allow them to have a sexual relationship. Despite all these troubles, Itsuki and Tsugumi together search for the meaning of happiness and try to make their own perfect world.

Despite their opposite personalities, Kang-woo and Seo-yeon start developing feelings for each other. The two struggle to overcome their biases for and against people with what they consider as flaws.


Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies

Another sexual fantasy show quite similar to Fanta G Spot is 2015’s K-drama, Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies. The show follows the life of Bo-hee, who works at a toy company. She is viewed favourably at work and is set for a promotion, but her one stupid mistake leads her to be fired from her job.

Bo-hee opens her eyes to the world of ‘real’ joy with the help of her neighbour who runs an adult toy shop called Casa Amor. With this, she bursts out ideas as a marketer to promote adult toys instead of children’s. This leads Bo-hee to run a sex toy shop with Nan-hee.
